The Spectroscopy and Industrial Catalysis (SpeICat) group from the Institute of Catalysis and Petroleum Chemistry at CSIC is involved in ROMEO.

The group’s lines of work are the design and synthesis of structured porous adsorbents and catalysts for the prevention of atmospheric pollution and processes optimization, supported by the operando spectroscopic characterisation methodology.

The group’s role in ROMEO is to contribute to the design, manufacture and characterisation of supports of several materials with tailored porosity and various shapes.
